Uso de técnicas de Debunking y Fact-checking para combatir la desinformación: una revisión integradora

Resumen

Con la llegada de la globalización, es posible difundir información de fácil acceso para las personas. Sin embargo, con ello se integran las “fake news”, que pueden provocar ruido informativo. Por lo tanto, en contextos propensos a la rápida propagación de la información, como se observó en la pandemia COVID-19, era necesario prestar atención a cómo protegerse de lo que es creíble o no. El objetivo de este estudio era investigar cómo se están utilizando las técnicas de “debunking” y “fact-checking” para combatir las fake news en todo el mundo. Para ello, se realizó una revisión integradora mediante búsquedas en las bases de datos SAGE, Science Direct y Periódicos Capes. Como resultado, las técnicas de “debunking” y “fact-checking” resultaron prometedoras para combatir la desinformación, y fueron responsables de mejorar la percepción de los individuos que las utilizaron frente a las fake news. Además, es necesaria una amplia visualización del contexto en el que se utilizarán, así como una mayor producción científica para visualizar resultados que corroboren su uso.
